Canta
Canta includes three different levels of hearing instruments. Each level offers superior sound quality, clarity and can easily meet a variety of unique needs. The Canta family includes the Canta 7, 4 & 2 versions.
Features include:
- Cochlea Dynamics Sound Processing - uses a series of overlapping digital filters that process sound in a manner that mimics the function of a healthy human cochlea. This provides the wearer with a clear sound quality.
- Environmental Programs - are accessed with a convenient push button or slide switch on the hearing aid.
- Digital Directional Technology - utilize two microphones and specialized digital signal processing to provide the most amplification to sounds coming from in front of you and less to sounds in other areas of the environment
- Digital Feedback Suppression - combats feedback by eliminating only the feedback without a reduction in high frequency amplification. This system is calibrated specifically to your ear by your hearing healthcare professional.
ReSoundAIR
ResoundAIR is the first digital hearing aid designed specifically for someone with high frequency loss. This dynamic new technology addresses common frustrations like the unnatural sound quality of your voice or a plugged up sensation when wearing a hearing instrument. ReSoundAIR exclusive ComforTec system virtually eliminates these issues.
Features Include:
- ComforTec - system includes a mini-BTE design that replaces the use of traditional ear molds, with a thin tubing and dome. This style makes ReSoundAIR virtually invisible. The unique dome uses multiple vents to keep your ear canal open eliminating the plugged up sensation experienced with more traditional hearing aid designs.
- Stabilizer - digital feedback suppression system combats feedback without a reduction in high frequency amplification. Stabilizer is optimised specifically for the open nature of the ReSoundAIR design, and allows for amplification of high frequency sounds critical to speech understanding. The Stabilizer system is calibrated specifically to your ear by your hearing healthcare professional.
- Noise Reduction- technology improves listening comfort and reduces listening fatigue in noisy environments. This technology quickly responds to reduce undesirable sounds in between syllables of speech without degrading the speech signal. ReSoundAIR incorporates directional technology to give you an additional advantage in difficult listening environments.
- WarpOpen - compression system provides a clear sound quality. It focuses specifically on the soft high frequency sounds responsible for clarity of the speech signal.
NewTonePlus
GN ReSound's NewTonePlus hearing instruments provide digital sound quality in a package designed for those who are looking to maximize their budget. They provide digital sound quality in an economical package.
A complete line of styles are available including CIC, ITC, Full Shell ITE, and BTE. Volume controls are on the BTE and Full Shell ITE models. NewTonePlus hearing instruments also have up to two environmental programs including a telecoil on both the BTE and Full Shell ITE models. Listening programs are easily accessed using a toggle switch on the hearing aid.
Using GN Resound programming software, your registered hearing aid dispenser can fine tune NewTonePlus hearing instruments to
meet your specific listening needs. They also utilize Wide Dynamic Range
Compression to automatically adjust the amount of amplification based upon the
changing sound levels of the environment. This type of sound processing ensures
the soft and medium environmental sounds are audible while keeping loud sounds
comfortable. Each NewTonePlus model has a Feedback Manager to combat undesirable
whistling and a Noise Clarifier to reduce amplification of
background sounds in non-conversational environments.
